After the Massacre
The Tiananmen Square Massacre affected many people. It's impossible to know how many people died or were arrested during this tragic event. The very censorship and limits to freedom of speech were the basis of the protests and is the same reason so little information is available to the public. The People's Republic of China, still a communist nation, has managed to keep information and statistics about the protest and massacre unknown because it disobeys China Law and affects their image. Protesters and bystanders were killed and traumatized by the massacre, and though people may not know about it, it should be remembered throughout history.
